Omoda Zee Nation Fest 2026 celebrates its third edition with one of South Africa’s biggest day celebrations

Following its highly anticipated return, Omoda Zee Nation Fest 2026 delivered an unforgettable third edition over the Women’s Day weekend, bringing together thousands of festivalgoers at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg for a spectacular celebration of women, music, fashion and South African culture.
Proudly presented by Omoda as the headline sponsor, the third edition of Zee Nation Fest cemented the festival as one of the biggest Women’s Day celebrations in South Africa, offering festivalgoers a full day of entertainment, culture and self-expression.

Hosted by the dynamic duo Moozlie and Somizi, the festival brought together an all-star lineup of South Africa’s most celebrated artists and entertainers. The stage came alive with performances from Xolly Mncwango, Anele Zondo, Alphi Mkhwanazi, Basetsana, Big Zulu, Boohle, Ch’CCO, DJ Lace, DJ Tira, Focalistic, Funk Tone, Kamo Mphela, Masterpiece, MaWhoo, Moozlie, Morda, Msindo’listo, Navvee Womculo, Oskido, Pcee, Pearl Thusi, Professor, Rethabile Khumalo, Somizi, Thabsie, Thato & Tracy, Thobani White and Uncool MC, delivering a diverse musical experience that celebrated the depth and diversity of South African talent.

This year’s festival was centred around a bold cowgirl theme, bringing a Western-inspired energy to the festival grounds and encouraging guests to embrace their individuality through fashion and self-expression. The overarching cowgirl aesthetic was complemented by secondary themes including Diamonds & Denim, Pink Pony Club and Heritage on Horseback, creating a distinctive visual identity that ran throughout the festival. From statement denim and dazzling diamonds to pink-inspired looks and equestrian touches, festivalgoers fully embraced the spirit of the celebration.

Beyond the music and fashion, Omoda Zee Nation Fest 2026 was brought to life through the support of an exciting lineup of brand partners. Knorr, Lucky Star, ERA by DJ Zinhle and Kotex alongside headline sponsor Omoda, created engaging experiences and activations across the festival grounds, adding to the energy and excitement of the day.
