Returning to Johannesburg on 8 and 9 August, the festival will showcase 70 of the country’s leading wine estates, taking festivalgoers on a journey through South Africa’s celebrated wine regions, complemented by exceptional food, live entertainment and interactive culinary experiences.
From Cap Classique, wine-based cocktail and Champagne tastings, to delicious offerings from the Pick n Pay Fresh Food Market including sushi, artisanal cheese and charcuterie boards, gourmet burgers and wood-fired pizzas, there’s something to suit every palate. Guests can also relax with friends on the lawns while enjoying live entertainment and a vibrant festival atmosphere.
Adding to the experience is the ever-popular Pick n Pay Tasting Room, flavoured by Robertsons Spices, where guests can enjoy expertly paired wines and gourmet canapés hosted by celebrity chefs and leading winemakers. For those looking to shake things up, the Pick n Pay Liquor Mixology Theatre, presented by Diageo, returns with interactive cocktail-making masterclasses that combine premium spirits with wine in fresh, trend-forward serves.
The festival stage will keep the energy high throughout both days with a jam-packed programme of live entertainment, competitions and lucky draws, giving festivalgoers plenty of chances to win fantastic prizes. Saturday afternoon’s headline performance comes from Courus, while Stones & Bones will close out the festival on Sunday, ensuring a memorable soundtrack to an unforgettable weekend.
