Sunset Shades, Stripes and Coastal Touches – The Miladys High Summer Story

Summer returns with the promise of long, golden days, the smoothness of warm, sun-kissed skin and the sensations of cool sea washing over hot white sands. Dressing is effortless, as simple as reaching for something light, bright and breezy. That quintessential feeling is this summer’s best trend. There are flares of sunset pink and golden yellow lighting up ocean blue and bold, saturated brights. Stripes are the pattern of choice, and  crochet, straw, shell and pearl details add coastal textures and a carefree style. Soft and breathable fabrics, relaxed silhouettes and ease of movement define the summer of ‘26.

It’s a feeling of escape, but for every day, that runs through the new Miladys High Summer collection. Whether you are packing for the coast or making the most of long weekends at home, the collection is crafted to give the Miladys woman her getaway wherever summer may take her

Natalie Wills, Managing Director at Miladys, says, “Summer dressing should feel like a holiday, even on an ordinary Tuesday. We designed every piece in our High Summer collection to be easy to wear and easy to love. With the brand’s focus on fit, comfort and confidence you can spend less time thinking about what to put on and more time enjoying yourself.”

A palette that feels like sunshine

Sunset Shades and Bright & Bold are the two colour stories of the season. Sunset Shades is pretty and warm with pinks, golden yellows, crochet and stripes in easy silhouettes that are as relaxed as summer’s late afternoon glow. Bright & Bold turns the volume up with saturated pinks, oranges and blues styled with oversized gold earrings for a bold look. Or, for the Miladys woman who likes a little less, a classy bag adds the perfect pop of colour.

Stripes, texture and coastal touch

Stripes are everywhere this summer from dresses to button-up shirts and footwear. The easiest styling tip? Just pick one colour from your stripes to use in your accessories. Adding texture is the perfect finishing touch. Dresses with scalloped edges and embroidery can be dressed up with heels or down with flats while crochet adds a handmade feel to dresses and sets.

The coast is definitely the biggest influence this summer. Pearls, shells, straw and metallics add a beachy vibe to every look. Add sculpted gold seashells and starfish charms to your summer jewellery to give your look that beach feeling.

Dresses that style for you

You can never have too many good summer dresses. Lengths range from knee to ankle and silhouettes vary from dressy to casual. Look out for soft florals with crochet and romantic blue rose-print with pearl detailing. Treat yourself to a crisp, pink shirt dress with a cinched waist that gives you a classic hourglass silhouette.

The kaftan is the ultimate summer dress. Breezy and printed with bold botanicals and oversized florals, it’s perfect as a beach cover-up or a stylish dress with oversized sunnies.

And when you don’t want to waste any time thinking about your look, let Miladys do the styling for you with our matching sets. Add a colourful straw bag to make the look all yours.
