DHL Stormers and adidas Celebrate Deep-Rooted Rugby Heritage this 2026/27 Season
adidas and the DHL Stormers continue their renewed partnership with the unveiling of the new 2026/27 Home and Away jerseys, bringing together two iconic rugby identities through a collection that celebrates heritage and innovation.
Building on the foundations established with the return of adidas as the official technical sponsor of the DHL Stormers, the new season represents “Roots Run Deep,” celebrating rugby heritage and an evolution of two unmistakable identities. The iconic DHL Stormers hoops meet the adidas 3 Stripes once again, united by a shared heritage in rugby and a connection that stretches far beyond the pitch.
At the heart of the Home jersey are the iconic blue and white hoops that have become synonymous with the DHL Stormers. For generations, these colours and stripes have represented more than a team. They represent the fans who have become the lifeblood of the DHL Stormers, and the scores of passionate supporters who follow this club to the end of the earth and back.
The 2026/27 Home jersey honours that heritage while continuing its evolution for the modern game. The classic hoops remain at the centre of the design, while a new collar detail introduces added contrast and a sense of traditional rugby authenticity. The result is a jersey that remains instantly recognisable to the people who have made the blue and white their own, while evolving the identity for a new generation.
While both jerseys make a bold statement through heritage and innovation, the Away jersey draws inspiration from the legendary DHL Stormers ‘Men in Black’ era of 1999. Marking the return of one of the most distinctive identities in DHL Stormers history, the new Away jersey reimagines the iconic look for a new generation. The powerful black design captures the attitude, energy, and confidence of the Men in Black, brought to life through a modern interpretation.
Bold, uncompromising and designed to stand out both on and off the field, the Away jersey elevates a piece of DHL Stormers history into a contemporary cultural statement.

DHL Stormers Director of Rugby John Dobson said that both jerseys will be meaningful for players and fans alike.
“The home jersey with the white collar which we played in against New Zealand is the closest to our traditional colours there has ever been and the away jersey is something special which looks incredible whether you are old enough to remember the Men in Black era or not,” he said.
Stormers Rugby Chief Commercial Officer Leontine De Sutter said that the 2026/27 kit reflects the fact that the club is rooted in heritage but forward-facing and embracing the future.
“Both our home and away kits are classic in that they reference the past and the deep connection our fans feel with our team. They are also beautifully designed and something our fans will be proud to wear both to our matches and any other occasion,” she said.

The new DHL Stormers 2026/27 Home and Away jerseys will retail at R1099 and will be available at select adidas stores, online at adidas.co.za and stormers.co.za, on match days at the DHL Stormers merchandise store, and at selected sports retailers from 10 September 2026.
